The NBA held its 2024 draft lottery in Chicago on Sunday with the Atlanta Hawks winning the top overall pick. The Hawks entered the lottery with just a three percent chance of securing the top pick.

The Milwaukee Bucks declined to grant permission to the Detroit Pistons to interview Jon Horst for their president of basketball operations position.

Horst began his NBA career with the Pistons and is a native of Michigan.

Horst assumed control of the Bucks' front office in 2017 and has made a series of blockbuster trades beginning with Jrue Holiday in 2020 and Damian Lillard in 2023.

Dennis Lindsey is other publicly known candidate for the Pistons at this time.

Mike Budenholzer will not retain Frank Vogel's assistant coaches, sources told Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

It was reported earlier in the week that the Suns are expected to offer David Fizdale a role in the front office, though Fizdale is likely to reject the position.

Tyrese Haliburton is questionable for Game 4 against the New York Knicks due to lower back spasms, a sacral contusion, and a right ankle sprain.

Haliburton finished Game 3 with 35 points and seven assists.

The Pacers trail the series 2-1. 

OG Anunoby has been ruled out of Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers with a left hamstring injury.

Anunoby also missed Game 3 with the same injury.

The Knicks lead the series 2-1. 

Jonas Valanciunas will not return to the New Orleans Pelicans next season, according to Michael Scotto of the HoopsHype Podcast.

Valanciunas is not seen as a fit on the roster next to Zion Williamson.

Brandon Ingram is also considered likely to be traded by the team this offseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in assistants Micah Nori, David Adelman, Sean Sweeney, and Chris Quinn as possible candidates to fill their vacant head coach position, reported Jovan Buha on Buha's Block.

Buha adds that the Lakers are not in the stage of interviewing candidates, but they do plan to name a coach by the NBA Draft on June 26.

The organization met earlier this week to establish the criteria for the next head coach.

JJ Redick and Kenny Atkinson remain candidates for the open position.

Ty Lue would be the Lakers' top choice should be become available, though it appears unlikely at this point.

Brandon Ingram is the player "most likely" to be traded by the New Orleans Pelicans, according Michael Scotto of the HoopsHype Podcast.

Ingram is entering into the final season of his $36 million contract.

Ingram reportedly had a "minor exchange" with head coach Willie Green during Game 2 of the team's first-round series against the Thunder.

Ingram has also been linked with a possible deal to the Sixers.

The Phoenix Suns are expected to offer lead assistant David Fizdale a job in the front office.

The move comes after the Suns hired Mike Budenholzer as the team's new head coach.

Fizdale is not expected to accept the offer, according to The Athletic.
